• Cheshire Cops Arrest FLA Man In Decade-Old Sexual Assault Of Minor: PD (patch.com) — Cheshire residents are learning that police have arrested a Florida man in connection with an alleged sexual assault of a minor that occurred in town about ten years ago. Detectives from Cheshire worked closely with Florida authorities, traveling there twice, before taking the suspect into custody and arranging his court appearance in Meriden.
   

• Man Stole Checks, Defrauded Cheshire Business, Police Say (patch.com) — A Cheshire business was defrauded after outgoing checks were stolen, altered, and redirected, leading local police to charge a Georgia man with forgery and larceny. Cheshire officers extradited him from Georgia in late November, and he was scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court earlier this month.
