The Cheshire Academy Athletic Department announced the following college commitments for these football players: <ul> <li>Connor Caponegro: University of Rhode Island </li> <li>Malik Golden: Penn State </li> <li>Michael Villapiano: Brown University </li> <li>AJ Zuttah: Dartmouth College </li> <li>Doug Warrick: Elon College</li> </ul> The players and their families gathered on campus to  participate in the 2012 National Signing Day on Wednesday. The commitments top off a winning season in which the Cats took both the Colonial League title and the NEPSAC Championship.
