CHESHIRE, CT — The Cheshire football team advanced to the Class L semifinals with a thrilling last-second 32-29 comeback victory over Fairfield Ludlowe in the quarterfinals Wednesday night in Cheshire.
Cheshire quarterback Aiden Gregorich connected with Liam Suomala with an 11-yard touchdown pass on fourth down with 10 seconds remaining to complete the comeback for the Rams, according to GameTimeCT.
Gregorich finished with three rushing touchdowns, including two in the third quarter, to lead the Rams, according to GameTimeCT.

Third-seeded Cheshire will take on No. 7 Ridgefield in a semifinal showdown on Monday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Cheshire High School.
