She was an accounts receivable manager for 30 years, a Justice of the Peace who officiated over 150 weddings, and an active community member who enjoyed hosting large holiday dinners, watching true crime shows, working local political campaigns, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Dorothea Blumenstein Kochman, 98, died Mar. 29, 2025. After fleeing Nazi Germany in 1939 and living in Shanghai, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1949, raised two children, and was known for her resilience, direct wisdom, and devotion to family.
