Cheshire Police Blotter: Oct. 5-9

The following information was provided by the Cheshire Police Department. Inclusion on this list does indicate a conviction.

The Cheshire Police Department reported the following charges:

David Milton, 33, 1264 Lilac Ct., was charged with third degree assault against a victim over 60, third degree assault and disorderly conduct at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 10. According to the Cheshire police, officers responded to a call about a heated arguement. The reports states Milton pushed and grabbed his parents in an attempt to get them to leave the house. His mother sustained minor injuries to her neck and throat but declined treatment. Milton was then taken to MidState Medical Center after he threatened to take his own life, according to police.

Kevin Mattei, 34, of Waterbury, was charged with failure to meet minimum insurance requirements, theft or possession of a number plate or expiration sticker, improper use of a marker and operating an unregistered vehicle on Oct. 6 at 12:29 a.m. at Robin Lane and Deepwood Dr.
