Cheshire Police Officers Honored For Rescue From Burning House

Several officers received awards for their efforts in the rescue of residents from a burning house in a recent fire, according to officials.

CHESHIRE, CT — Several police officers have been honored for their efforts in the rescue of residents from a burning house in Cheshire last month.

Cheshire firefighters and police responded to an active house fire on Rockview Drive on Oct. 18.

“CPD officers and dispatchers did not hesitate to act,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Officers responded into the burning house, assisted with removing occupants and helping with medical attention. Great job!”
