Cheshire Resident Appointed to Gaylord Specialty Healthcare Board
Gaylord Taps William J. Simione, III, Managing Principal of Simione Healthcare Consultants

Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, a rehabilitation-focused, non-profit health system, has appointed Cheshire resident William J. Simione, III to its Board of Directors.
Simione is Managing Principal of Simione Healthcare Consultants, a home healthcare and hospice consulting agency headquartered in Hamden.
“I am extremely excited to join Gaylord’s Board of Directors,” he said, adding that he is the third generation in his family to become involved with Gaylord Specialty Healthcare.

“My grandmother was a nurse at Gaylord and my father was a former board member, so I am very proud to carry on the tradition. I look forward to using my 30 years’ experience in post-acute care to help Gaylord in any way I can.”

Lyons, Chairman of Gaylord Specialty Healthcare Board of Directors. “His knowledge and broad experience in post-acute settings will be an asset as we continue to expand our patient-focused services and navigate an ever-changing healthcare landscape.”
