PROSPECT, CT — A 61-year-old Cheshire man was killed in a crash on July 4th, state police said.

State Police said Timothy S. Pazar, 61, of Cheshire, was traveling east on Route 68 and a 2011 Ford Fusion driven by a Meriden resident was traveling south on Matthew Street, and was crossing Route 68 onto Talmadge Hill Road, and the Ford "impacted" the motorcycle causing the motorcycle to capsize.
