Cheshire's Dress a Girl Sews up Success
Seamstresses completed about 130 dresses at last weekend's sewing event.

Dress a Girl state representative Janine Mahan reports that the weekend's sewing event brought together about 35 seamstresses who were able to finish about 130 dresses.
The two-year old volunteer effort has been so successful, Mahan sent aout 500 dresses to girls around the world. On Wednesday she mailed about 300 dresses to South Carolina which will be loaded on a ship that will travel to Cambodia.
"We have a request for 10,000 dresses and the deadline to ship them to the port in South Carolina is the end of August," Mahan wrote in her blog.
