Cheshire’s Kobylanski Receives College Sports ‘Volunteer 15’ Honor

CHESHIRE, CT — (From Albertus Magnus College): Cheshire’s Michael Kobylanski has been recognized by the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) as a part of its "Volunteer 15" program for the 11th consecutive year.

Kobylanski, Athletic Director at Albertus Magnus College, served as a coach for multiple teams in his hometown of Cheshire in conjunction with Cheshire Youth Baseball. He also used his photography skills while volunteering to shoot athletic events for the town's youth football, baseball and lacrosse programs, along with Cheshire High School sports.

He also took part in numerous campus events at Albertus, including the annual Day of Service, and served as a guest speaker at the College for his previous experiences in the communications industry.

Kobylanski is a member of the CSC Job Seekers Committee and has been a contributor to the organization's Job Primer for young professionals. He has also volunteered as a part of the CSC Mentoring Program.

The Volunteer 15 program is an initiative to get members more involved in their communities. The program is designed to help promote the great efforts and success our members have in their communities. To qualify, members had to volunteer at least 15 hours during the school year. The program is administered by the Goodwill and Wellness Committee.
