Cheshire Soldier Serving in Kuwait

A Cheshire native is deployed to Camp Buehring, Kuwait

Cheshire native, 2nd Lt. Susan M. Kosakowski, a health services administrator, received medical training recently at at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. She is being shown a combat application tourniquet by specialists with the 203rd Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.

The USO reports that troops typically spend one to three weeks training at Camp Buehring here before deploying into Iraq. The camp is just 10 miles south of the Iraq border.
