Cocaine and DUI Arrests in Cheshire

Two adults arrested for cocaine possession and burglary.

This week's arrests and charges:

Jill Cavanaugh, 49, of Plainville and Joseph Gorham, 47, of Waterbury were arrested on March 12 by Cheshire Police at 176 Woodland Drive following response to a suspicious activity complaint.  Both were charged with possession of cocaine, burglary in the third-degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia over a half ounce.  Gorham was also charged with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.  Both are scheduled for a March 21 court proceeding on the charges.

Thursday, March 8

Tanner Barros, 17, of 198 Lansdowne Lane was charged with traveling unreasonably fast on Moss Farms Road at 10:10 a.m.

Sharlise Almeida, 24, of New Haven was charged with operating under suspension and failure to return license plates on Eastgate Drive at 1:21 p.m.

Friday, March 9

Joseph Todsico, 31, of 1617 Sturbridge Court was charged with traveling unreasonably fast on Fenn Road at 7:20 a.m.

Andre Rice, 35, of Waterbury was charged with operating under suspension and a cell phone violation on West Main Street at 4:42 p.m.

Jeffrey Muzljakovich, 48, of Old Saybrook was charged with failure to obey a traffic control signal on Highland Avenue at 8:01 p.m.

Saturday, March 10

Thomas Farina, 20, of 360 Maple Avenue was charged with speeding on Yalesville Roada t 12:29 a.m.

Michael Cohhiaro, 60, of 407 Robin Court was charged with driving under the influence on South Main Street at 2:15 a.m.

Filipe Arnaud, 22, of 728 Jarvis Street was charged with traveling unreasonably fast and failure to wear a seat belt on Moss Farms Road at 6:08 p.m.
