Drug Arrests in Cheshire School Zone

Two Cheshire residents arrested on multiple drug charges.

Cheshire Police Lt. James Fasano said three individuals were arrested after police got a call about a possible disturbance. The officers found marijuana in a car and based on the location on North Brooksvale Road, charged the individuals with intent to sell controlled substance in a school zone. "We threw the book at them," Fasano said.

Those arrested are:

Emilie Beebee, 20, of 25 Lynwood Dr., was charged on May 27  at 1:21 a.m. with a number of infractions:

  • Possession with intent to sell controlled substance near school
  • Possession of controlled substance
  • Possession of drugs in a school zone
  • Possession of marijuana with intent to sell
  • Assault in the 3rd degree (attempted)
  • Possession of drug paraphrenalia over 1/2 ounce
  • Possession of marijuana 1/2 to four ounces.

Steven Montoni, 18, of 445 North Brooksvale Rd. was charged on May 27 at 1:21 a.m. with a number of infractions:

  • Possession with intent to sell controlled substance near school
  • Possession of drugs in a school zone
  • Possession of marijuana with intent to sell
  • Sale and possession of hallucinogens 
  • Threatening
  • Assault in the 3rd degree (attempted)
  • Possession of drug paraphrenalia over 1/2 ounce
  • Possession of marijuana 1/2 to four ounce

Christopher LaGrange, 26, of Waterbury, was charged on May 27 at 1:21 a.m. with these infractions:
