James W. Hawk’s exhibit at La Collezione Invernale – Inaugurazione is an experimental time-lapse film titled Winter Shadows on New Snow and Wind in the Old Oak Tree which takes a 12 hour day and compresses it to 3 minutes. His film uses color, music and special effects to enhance the viewing experience. It captures the ballet of shadows on new fallen snow and in an old oak tree. The dynamic nature of the sky added nicely to the overall composition.

OSPIZIO GIOVANI ARTISTI·

Organized in 2013, the space of the OGA organizes many group exhibitions every year, with contemporary and modern art works that come exclusively from the Collection of the OGA itself. These works are usually donated by the artists themselves in order to create thematic exhibitions that are a continuous reflection on the role of art involvement in today's society.

It's very important to say that the OGA was organized with the ironic intent to exhibit only works made by artists over 35 years of age, in provocative opposition to festivals and institutions that seek only young artists, but there are occasional exceptions to this rule
