Kindergarten Registration Begins In Cheshire: Here’s What To Know

CHESHIRE, CT — Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year is underway in Cheshire.

Parents can register their students online, or at an in-person registration event on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

The event will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the town’s elementary schools.

To be eligible to register for kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year, your child must be five years old before September 1, 2025 (born on or before September 1, 2020). The school your child will attend for kindergarten is based on your street address.

If you are unsure which school your child will attend, a complete list of streets and school districts can be found on the Cheshire Public Schools website at www.cheshire.k12.ct.us.

Parents may register their kindergarten students online or at their home school on February 5, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
