Obituary: Robert H. Morgan, 77, Of Cheshire
His career included teaching and later development work at Notre Dame HS (Vice Principal), UNH, Curtis Home, and Big Brothers/Sisters.

CHESHIRE, CT — (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home): Robert H. Morgan, 77, of Cheshire, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Midstate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted and beloved husband of Elaine Muldowney. Although they had known each other for over 40 years, they were married in September of 2021.
Robert was born December 18, 1946, in Norwich, the son of the late Lacy and Jeanette (Philipp) Morgan. He was a longtime Cheshire resident, a communicant of St. Bridget Church, and a member of the Cheshire Lions Club. His career included teaching and later development work at Notre Dame HS (Vice Principal), the University of New Haven, Curtis Home, and Big Brothers/Sisters.
Bob loved the 1950s and Doo-wop music. He and Elaine would often go to shows both in NE and in their winter getaway in Sunset Beach, NC. Bob was also an avid Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Karen Morgan and her husband Kurt Sablitz of Hamden; his sister Cheryl Roberge and brother Douglas (Jody) of Arizona. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his previous spouse Patricia A. Morgan.
Arrangements-Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to St Bridget of Sweden Church, 175 Main St for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.
