Mary Jane Talerico, 90, died May 10, 2025. An educator who began teaching 3rd grade in Utica, NY, later served as a longtime substitute teacher in Cheshire Public Schools, and taught CCD at St. Bridget of Sweden Parish.
Diane M. Schatz, 65, died May 11, 2025; she enjoyed motorcycle rides with her husband, time with her grandchildren, and caring for her German Shepherds, Holly and Lucy.

Thomas Michael Monroe, 54, died May 14, 2025. A financial advisor for 30 years with Merrill Lynch and Raymond James, he was an avid skier, golfer, UConn sports fan, and served on boards for the Connecticut Cancer Foundation, Cheshire Food Pantry, and Wounded Warrior Project.
Dolores M. Guarino, 82, died May 14, 2025. She served as Head Nurse at St. Raphael’s Hospital and was known for raising Yorkshire Terriers and supporting those around her.

Laurie Coffey Cruess, 67, died May 19, 2025. She worked for many years in the nursing home industry, culminating as a business office manager, and enjoyed stock car racing, golf club visits, and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sports and music events.
Barbara Marcil Gaudio, 83, died May 19, 2025. She volunteered with the Cheshire Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and St. Bridget’s School, helped coach youth baseball, and was an accomplished cook, baker, decorator, and office manager.
Barbara Ann Welton, 91, died May 23, 2025. She worked 27 years as an X-ray technician at St. Mary’s Hospital, taught life skills including sewing at Cheshire Correctional Complex, and enjoyed bridge, swimming, sewing, and daily Jumble puzzles.
Frank G. Tahmoush, 88, died May 24, 2025. An MIT-trained metallurgist and U.S. Army veteran, he developed forging processes for the Moon Landing Module and SR-71 Blackbird, served 30 years at Polaroid as Director of Worldwide Purchasing, and enjoyed golfing, skiing, travel, cooking, and playing pool.
