Report: Cheshire's Proposed Capital Budget Close To $60M

The five-year capital plan was rolled out Tuesday.

Cheshire, CT - Cheshire now has a $59.91 million, five-year, capital plan.

According to a report in The New Haven Register, the proposal was unveiled on Tuesday night.

The Register reports that Town Manager Michael Milone unveiled the spending plan.

There are 64 projects in the five-year, town plan, which includes several project for the current fiscal year: $1.7 million for the public schools and $4.9 million for roads and sewers, according to The Register.

For this fiscal year, the plan proposes a budget of $15.8 million, according to the report.
