Road Closures Announced For 5K Road Race In Cheshire
Police are advising residents of traffic delays and road closures that will be in effect on Saturday morning.
CHESHIRE, CT — Police are advising residents of road closures that will be in effect for the Hot COCO 5K road race Saturday morning (Nov. 9) in Cheshire.
The race is being held at 10 a.m. in the area of Norton School.
“There will be minor delays at the start and end of the race as runners exit and later enter the Norton School grounds,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.

Police said for the duration of the race, the eastbound lane of North Brooksvale Road from Bethany Mountain Road to Norton School will be closed to traffic, the west bound lane of South Brooksvale Road from Avon Boulevard to Bethany Mountain Road will also be closed, and a detour will be set up.
The event is expected to be completed by 11:30 a.m., according to police.
