Cheshire Education Foundation Scholarships

Ten seniors from Cheshire High School were honored this week as winners of the annual scholarships administered by the Cheshire Education Foundation.  

This year’s scholarship winners are:

Chapman School Scholarship: Patrick Winiarski, $500. Will attend Embry Riddle University. 

John E. DeLane Memorial Scholarship:  This $10,000 scholarship will be divided equally among:

• Lauren Anderson, Will attend Southern Connecticut State 
• Kevin Pasquale Jr., Will attend University of Connecticut.
• Patrick Winiarski

Meghan Welch Memorial Artistic Scholarship: Lindsay Thompson, $2,000 award. She will attend Northwestern University.

Mark S. Jardim Memorial Scholarship: 

• Sebastian Little $1,500, will attend Yale University.
• Lindsay Thompson, $1,500 

Lombardo Family Scholarship:  Patrick Winiarski, $1,000 

Greg Schena Memorial Scholarship: 

• Alexander Vendetto, $1,500. Will attend Wentworth Institute of Technology.
• Sebastian Little, $1,500.  

Daniel P. Martinook Memorial Scholarship: 

• Casey Candelora, $500. Will attend Southern Conn. State Univ. 
• Kelly Coury, $500. Will also attend SCSU.

Cheshire Education Foundation General Scholarship:  Anna Frenzilli, $1,000. Will attend Georgetown University.

The Cheshire Education Foundation has been raising private funds to enhance the programs and offerings of the Cheshire Public Schools since 1995.
