The 2012 KidsCare event will be held on Friday, June 8, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The participants take a lap around the Cheshire High School track just prior to the survivor lap.
KidsCare raised over $7000 last year, said Tri-Chair Landa Vernon. Funds come from sponsorships and children's events at the Relay that include games, crafts and snacks. Most cost $1, she said.
