2-Vehicle Crash Causes 8 Mile Delay On I-84 In Danbury: UPDATE

UPDATE: The crash in Danbury has been cleared on I-84 and about a 5-mile delay remains as of 8:15 a.m.

NEWTOWN - Delays. I-84 Westbound is congested between Exits 11 and 9 (4.9 miles).

Also, a heads-up if you need to travel on the Merritt Parkway this morning.

TRUMBULL - Delays. RT 15 Southbound is congested between Exits 49 and 41 (11.5 miles). Reported Tuesday, January 28 at 6:21 am.

Information via CT DOT:

DANBURY - I-84 Westbound is congested between Exits 10 and 6 (8.3 miles) because of Crash (2 Vehicle) between Exits 7 and 6. The right lane is closed. Reported Tuesday, January 28 at 6:59 am.
