Abbe K. Tesch of Danbury Passed Away
Abbe earned a Master of Health Administration degree from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.
DANBURY, CT — Abbe K. Tesch "was beamed back to her home planet" on July 21, 2016, after battling ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). She was born in Brooklyn in February 1952, the only child of Fred and Martha (Glass) Lifschitz. Abbe graduated from Lafayette High School and earned a BA degree from Hunter College and a Master of Health Administration degree from Western Connecticut State University.
During her career she held clerical and managerial positions at a law firm, a tax preparation firm, and a physical therapy practice. Most recently she pursued a private practice as a nutrition and health coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and served clients locally and nationally.
Abbe is survived by her husband, Fred, and her daughter Meredith Freed and her fiancé Abhir Adhate.A celebration of Abbe's life will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Ethan Allen Inn, 21 Lake Ave. Ext., Danbury, CT.In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Regional Hospice and Home Care of Danbury (www.regionalhospicect.org/) or to the ALS Association of Connecticut (www.alsact.org).
