Bagels and Books at Danbury Library: City Council to Vote

The Danbury City Council will vote Tuesday on whether to accept Bagelman's proposal to be the next proprietor of the Danbury Library's cafe

DANBURY, CT - The City Council will vote on Tuesday night on whether or not to accept Bagelman's proposal to serve lunch at the Danbury Pubic Library, according to City of Danbury meeting minutes. A sub-committee voted unanimously in June to approve a six-month contract with Bagelman.

The company currently operates two stores in Danbury on Padanaram and Mill Plain Road and one in Brookfield in the TJ Maxx plaza. Bagels are made fresh daily on the premises and menu offerings include bagels, lox, sandwiches, burgers and more.
