Barbara A. Vallee, 73, of Danbury, Passed Away Peacefully
Barbara loved her work as a caregiver for the Danbury Nurses Registry.

DANBURY, CT — Barbara A. Vallee, 73, of Danbury, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 16th. She was born in Danbury on May 29, 1943, daughter of the late William A. and Hattie (Hogan) Vallee. She was a lifelong Danbury resident and graduated from Danbury High School.
Barbara loved her work as a caregiver for the Danbury Nurses Registry. She loved her patients and cultivated lasting friendships with many of them.
A loving and devoted mother, her life was centered around her five children, and later her grandchildren.

She especially enjoyed "Casino day" with her sister Ruthie and brother-in-law Bill.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Karen Santoro of Danbury, Matthew Santoro of Cromwell, Anthony Santoro of New Milford, BarbaraAnn Santoro of Danbury, and Kelly VanDerheyden and her husband, Todd of Kinderhook, NY; her six grandchildren, NaDeana Peretti and her husband, Kevin, Virginia Santoro, Nicole Handy, Amber and Allecia VanDerheyden, and Angela Sanango; and her great granddaughter, Emma Peretti.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 26th at 1:00pm at Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel.
There are no calling hours.
