Big Lottery Prize Sold In Danbury

DANBURY, CT — A winning lottery ticket worth $10,000 was recently sold in Danbury, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Danbury resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $10,000 on a 10X Cash 17th Edition scratch ticket that was sold at Jb Wine & Spirits at 29 Newtown Rd. in Danbury, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
