Body Found on Spring Street Friday Morning Identified as New Milford Man
City workers renovating Spring Street arrived to a crime scene early Monday morning.

Danbury Police identified the man found in bushes early Friday morning as Martin Davis, 44, of Railroad Street, New Milford.
"When we got to Spring Street this morning, it was a crime scene," said Thomas Hughes Superintendent of Construction Services in Danbury.
Danbury's Public Works Department is renovating the street, sidewalks and lighting of Spring Street, and that work started Thursday. Police found the body at the Octagon House between Spring and Elm streets at about 5 a.m. Passersby reported the man in the bushes and EMTS declared him dead at the scene.

The office of the state Medical Examiner's Office in Farmington will conduct an autopsy.
