Danbury police are warning people to beware burglars who have been hiting cars, homes and businesses over the last two weeks.

Danbury Police are warning people and businesses of a rash of burglaries over the last two weeks that involve cars, homes and businesses.

Police aren't releasing every detail, but it looks like roughly seven cars and 12 businesses or homes are being targeted each week. Many of the break-ins are occurring to front or side doors and windows.

Police said most of the business break-ins are happening in the evening and the home burglaries are happening in the daytime. The car break-ins can happen any time. The incidents are being reported all over the city, said Police Information Officer Thomas Wendel.
