Child Counselor/Molester Case Continued
Bad weather this week moved the next court appearance of Troy Grant to March 9.
The court case against Danbury's Troy Grant was continued to March 9 after bad weather on Wednesday delayed any action in court.
Grant stands accused of 27 charges that arose from sex between adult men and teenage boys at Grant's house. At least one of the boys involved had been placed with Grant by his family, because Grant was working as a volunteer or mentor with "at-risk" youth through churches or church groups in Danbury.
He is accused of nine counts of risk of injury to a minor; three counts of second-degree sexual assault; three counts of illegal sexual contact; two counts of criminal attempt to commit illegal sexual contact; three counts of delivering alcohol to a minor and three counts of second-degree sexual assault when the actor is a guardian and the vicim is under 18. He is charged with two counts of fourth degree sexual assault when the actor is a guardian and the victim is under 18.
