Continuing Care Facility Approved In Danbury: Report

City planners said the facility would be in character with its neighborhood and not cause noise or traffic pollution.

DANBURY, CT — A 139-apartment continuing-care complex has been approved in Danbury, reports the News Times. Keystone Place at Wooster Heights features apartments for the aging offering varying levels of care.

The building will be located in a neighborhood zoned for light industrial use atop Wooster Heights Road. The site is located just east of the Danbury Municipal Airport.

The Planning Department approved the complex after a publci hearing in October, and planners found the complex would be in character with the neighborhood.
