Credit Card Scanners, IDs Found After Danbury Crash: Report
Police said two people face identity theft charges after a crash in Danbury.

DANBURY, CT — Police said they found duffel bags filled with an electronic credit card scanner, as well as identifying information of other people after a crash on Old Newtown Road Saturday, reports the News Times. Names, personal addresses, social security card numbers, checkbooks and other identifying information was found after three suspects fled a crash that took place at 1:30 p.m.
Josiah Humphrey, 26, of Danbury, Treana Nixon, 23, of New Haven and Janeia Gibson, 20, of Waterbury were found at the scene. Police said they also found a small bag of heroin at the scene.
Officers also found items that had been reported stolen to Bethel Police.
