Danbury Concert Chorus Welcomes New Members

The Danbury Music Centre and Music Director & Conductor, John Cuk, invite you to become a member of the Danbury Concert Chorus for their 90th Season.

All singers, regardless of ability level, high-school age, and up, are welcome to participate. Tenor and bass voices are particularly encouraged! No auditions are required.

To begin the 2025-26 Season, the chorus will perform an abridged version of Mendelssohn's "Elijah" and rehearsals begin on August 26th.

About the chorus: Established in 1935, the Danbury Concert Chorus is a non-auditioned ensemble dedicated to performing a diverse range of choral masterworks. They annually present Handel's Messiah, collaborating with members of the Danbury Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of John Cuk, Music Director & Conductor. Chorus members are from the greater Danbury area. Residency in Danbury is not a requirement.

Rehearsals: Tuesday evenings, 7:30-9:30 pm at the Danbury Music Centre, 256 Main Street, Danbury, CT.

Convenient parking is available in the Bardo parking garage behind the DMC on Library Place. Handicapped parking is available adjacent to the elevators in the garage. A handicapped entrance is located at the rear entrance of the building.
