Danbury Hospital Hosts Mission Health Day: A Community Event For Those In Need
Mission Health Day is a health and wellness community event for those in need.

Danbury Hospital, now part of Northwell Health, will host its annual Mission Health Day from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025. This year, the event will be at Western Connecticut State University’s Bill Williams Gymnasium located off Osbourne Street. Members of the community who are uninsured, underinsured or at risk of housing instability are welcome to attend the free event. The event is open to individuals aged 18 years and older.
Mission Health Day is an opportunity for those in need to access complimentary services, including health screenings and social supports.

- General health assessments and screenings with time to consult a medical provider
- Basic point-of-care testing
- Diabetes screenings and educational resources
- Referrals to primary care providers
- Screening mammogram referrals
- Podiatry screenings
- Mental health and substance abuse screenings with referral options
- Insurance enrollment assistance
- Vaccinations
In addition to these health services, attendees will receive free personal care packages, winter clothing and haircuts.
