Danbury Man Clocked at 70 MPH Over Speed Limit: Police

DANBURY, CT — A city man was arrested Thursday after police say he was traveling 70 miles per hour over the speed limit on Sugar Hollow Road. Police say they clocked a Subaru WRX driven by Joffre Leon, 19, traveling 115 miles per hour on a 45 miles per hour zone.

Police say Leon also had marijuana in his car.

Leon was charged with reckless driving and marijuana possession. He was released on a $500 bond and is due in court on June 15.
