Danbury Man Found With Two Pounds of Pot: Police
Police had been investigating his alleged drug dealing after resident complaints.

DANBURY, CT — A city man was arrested Wednesday on drug dealing charges after an investigation into his alleged drug dealing activity, according to Danbury Police. A search of the apartment of Michael O. Wright, 42, of Danbury led to the seizure of around two pounds of marijuana and other drugs.
Police say the arrest was a result of a weeks-long investigation into complaints from citizens of Wright selling drugs in the city. Investigators stopped Wright in the parking lot of a local fast food restaurant and executed search warrants at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. To sign up for Danbury breaking news alerts and more, click here.
Police say Wright had narcotics on him at the time of his arrest, and searched his Prince Street apartment where they found the marijuana, drugs and other paraphernalia.

Wright was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school possession of a narcotic with intent to sell among other charges. He was held on a $100,000 bond pending arraignment or the posting of bail.
