Danbury Man Made Threat With a Weapon: Ridgefield Police
An elderly Danbury man was arrested after a verbal altercation led to the threat.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — A Danbury man was arrested Friday after police say he threatened another person with a weapon in Ridgefield. Police arrested Carl Sayers, 72, after he threatened another man following a road rage incident on Danbury Road, Ridgefield police say.
Police say that the threat was made during a verbal dispute between the two individuals before Sayers threatened the other man with an unidentified weapon. Sayers was charged with breach of peace in the second degree.
He was released on a promise to appear and is due in court on May 11.
