Danbury Officers Get Promoted To Detective
The two new detectives were honored at City Hall Wednesday.
DANBURY, CT — Two city police officers were promoted to the rank of Detective Wednesday morning. Officers John Basile and Ralph Anderson were promoted during a ceremony held at City Hall.
Anderson started with the department in 2003, and has been a field training officer and honor guard member since 2015. He has received several letters of appreciation, commendation and award. He is ranked No. 2 on the current police detective eligibility list, according to Danbury Police.
Basile started his career in Danbury in 2006. He became a member of the ESU SWAT Tactical Team in 2001 and became a Part-Time Evidence Technician in 2011. Basile has been an honor guard and field training officer since 2011.
