Danbury Officials Warn Of Road Closures, Flooding & Mudslide
The City of Danbury has requested residents stay off the roads as emergency crews contend with the flooding Sunday afternoon.

DANBURY, CT — Heavy rain has created flooding conditions, including a mudslide, throughout Danbury, and emergency crews have been deployed throughout the city.
"At this time we are asking motorists to stay off the roads if possible," city spokesperson Erin Henry said.
Emergency and utility crews are on the scene at 160 Shelter Rock Road, responding to a mudslide. The incident is under control and is isolated to that one address only. The building has been evacuated, according to Henry

Emergency crews are also on scene evacuating Glen Apartments in the area of Main Street due to flooding.
