One man charged with numerous drug offenses and a second with first-degree robbery.
Danbury police charged Robert Kapple 3rd, 25, of Nicholas St., Danbury, with numerous drug and automobile charges following an incident in Danbury Monday at about 9 a.m.
Police said they charged Kapple with following too closely and carrying no insurance, two automobile charges, then with numerous drug charges. Those included possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, failure to keep pills in their container, and possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school with intent to sell.

Kapple was held on a $15,000 bond.
Danbury police charged Terrence Leydon, 45, of Danbury, with first-degree robbery Tuesday at 10 a.m. after an incident in Danbury at a Getty Gas Station on Sept. 17.

Leydon was charged after the armed robbery of the gas station, but he was already in custody from other similar charges in other cities.
Police held Leydon on a $25,00 bond for court Tuesday. His total bond on all the charges he faces in Connecticut is $250,000, and he is next due in court on Dec. 17.
