Danbury Police Log: First-Degree Assault, Possession of Narcotics, Violation of Probation
The following information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.

Danbury Police charged Dylan Bobstock, 30, of Fairfield Avenue, on a warrant with first-degree assault and interferring with a police officer. Bobstock was charged at 8:30 p.m. Friday when he turned himself in at Danbury Police Department headquarters. He was held on a $150,000 bond for court Monday.
In an unrelated case, Danbury Police charged Timothy Shantz, 29, of Ridgefield, with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, violation of probation and failure to appear in court. The incidents dated back to 2009. Shantz was charged on a warrant. He was released on a $15,000 bond for court on May 1.
Danbury Police charged Robert Almonte, 42, of Danbury, with violation of probation at about 2:45 p.m. Friday. Almonte was released on a $25,000 bond for court on April 26. Almonte turned himself in at the headquarters.
