Danbury Police Log: Heroin
The following information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is not guilty until having been convicted in court.

charged Timothy Ryan, 47, of South Weil Road, Danbury, with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school or public housing complex and criminal attempt to sell narcotics on Thursday at 6:37 p.m. Police said they witnessed Ryan buying narcotics, but decided to follow him before charging him. They followed him to a West Street parking lot, where he parked next to a second car. When police say the two drivers apparently talking and preparing to pass things between them. Police moved in and found Kerry Carbone of Newtown, 51, a passenger in the car, with $145 in cash tucked under her leg. Carbone was charged with criminal attempt to possess narcotics. She was charged with possession of drug parapernalia. Police found drug syringes in the console, and charged the driver, Marnie Dwyer, 38, of Newtown with criminal attempt to possess narcotics. Police found Ryan had in his possession a total of 30 bags of heroin.
