The following information came from the New York State State Troopers via Southeast-Brewster Patch. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.

New York State Troopers reported Danbury resident Nicole M. Goodhue, 22, was stopped on I-84 at about 2 a.m. Sunday in Southeast. Troopers reportedly stopped Goodhue, who was driving a 2012 Hyundai Tucson, for speeding. She reportedly refused to submit to alcohol screening. Goodhue is facing two misdemeanors—one count of driving while intoxicated and one count of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation—as well as unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Police released the defendant pending an April 24 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.

In an unrelated incident, New York State Troopers said Danbury resident Izaias Soares-Ferreira, 22, was stopped at around 4:10 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Routes 6 and 121 in Southeast.
