Danbury Police: Threatening, Breach of Peace

A Purdys, NY, man was charged in Danbury after a fight between two men. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.

Danbury Police reported they were called to a fight on Oakland Avenue Tuesday at about 1:40 p.m. where two men were fighting. Police said Anthony Finacchiaro, 36, of Entrance Ways East, Purdys, NY, was fighting with a second man, and he threatened to stab the other man with a knife he was carrying. Police charged Finacchiaro with threatening and breach of peace. He was released on a $500 bond.

Danbury Police reported Nicholas Penna, 30, of Donnelly Drive, New Fairfield, was charged Monday on a superior court warrant for violation of probation and held on a $50,000 bond for court Tuesday.
