Danbury Resident Among 3 Men Charged In Thwarted Waterbury Robbery: Police
Police seized a gun, cocaine and heroin during their investigation, police said.

WATERBURY, CT — Three men are facing charges following an attempted robbery at a Fleet Street residence Friday.
Police were summoned to 12 Fleet St., 2nd floor, for a report of a robbery in progress.
When police arrived, they captured two suspects outside, including Jason Zaruma, 28, of Danbury, and Cong Tran, 34, of Bristol.

Police later identified and captured a third suspect, Angel Taber, 26, of Waterbury.
According to police, the victim knows the three men.

Police said Taber had a firearm and was seen clutching his waistband during the attempted robbery.
K9 Bane responded to the scene to assist with a search and located a firearm holster and a Ruger SR22 handgun, police said.
Police said they also seized cocaine and heroin.
All three men were charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery.
Taber also faces charges of possession of narcotics, second-degree breach of peace, possession of burglary tools, and carrying a pistol without a permit.
Zaruma was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance, and Tran is also accused of possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
