Danbury Restaurant To Have Liquor License Temporarily Suspended

The Danbury establishment paid a fine and will have its liquor license suspended next month, according to state officials.

DANBURY, CT — A restaurant in Danbury will have its liquor license suspended, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission.

Barbarie's Black Angus Grill, at 3 Eagle Road, paid $9,500 and will face a one-day suspension on Jan. 6, 2026, for violation of regulations concerning the conduct on the premises, actions of an employee, and sale of liquor to an intoxicated patron.
