Danbury, CT — The First Congregational Church of Danbury will come alive with color, rhythm, and tradition on Saturday, October 5, as the city celebrates the Chinese Moon Festival with a free cultural event open to all.

Presented by Phoenix Performing Arts, the afternoon promises a rich tapestry of performances and activities around China’s Autumn festival.

Founded in 2008, a season of renewal and growth, Phoenix Performing Arts was created by a passionate group of dance and music enthusiasts in Danbury. As a non-profit organization, it showcases the rich world of Chinese dance and the music of many ethnic groups that live in harmony with nature. Through a vibrant fusion of costumes, choreography, and traditional instruments, the troupe seeks to enrich the community and foster a deeper appreciation of China’s cultural heritage and diverse ethnic arts.
