Danbury's Light the Lights Festival returns next month with a tree lighting, Santa parade, performances and a holiday market.
DANBURY, CT. — Downtown Danbury will usher in the holiday season next month when the Light the Lights Winter Festival returns to CityCenter Green on Dec. 6.
The event, scheduled from 3 to 7 p.m. at 1 Ives St., will feature the ceremonial lighting of a 40-foot holiday tree led by Mayor Roberto Alves. The annual tradition draws families from across the region and marks one of the city’s largest seasonal celebrations.
