Ethel Macchiaverna, 86

Ethel (Fallat) Macchiaverna, 86, of Danbury, wife of the late Epolio "Al" Macchiaverna died on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Danbury Hospital.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ann Melkite Church, 181 Clapboard Ridge Road (Route 39 north), Danbury with Rev. John Cigan of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Danbury, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Sunday, July 28 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Parastas Service will take place in the funeral home on Sunday at a time to be announced.
