A conversation with Author Jack Deeney - Cancelled

Jack Deeney, a Danbury resident, will talk about his historical novel “The Lion Dominion,” a tale of international intrigue and espionage involving Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie and set on the island of Jamaica during the Emperor’s visit in 1966.  The book’s story rose out of Deeney’s combat and intelligence work in Korea and a brief friendship he had with two Ethiopian soldiers, as well as frequent visits to Jamaica since 1964.

Deeney has served as Partner in two major international management consulting firms and as General Manager of a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest financial institutions.  He is a combat veteran of the Korean War and earned the Combat Infantryman’s Badge.
