Author to Visit Western Connecticut State University

 John Perkins, author of “Hoodwinked! What Wrecked our Economy? How to Fix it,” will discuss his new book in the Ives Concert Hall in White Hall at the university's midtown campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.

The author of “Hoodwinked” and “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” (which was on the New York Times bestseller list for more than a year), Perkins describes the past 50 years as history’s first truly global empire. While the state of today’s economy “appears catastrophic to many people,” he said, “it also offers great opportunities.”
